Keep your pets safe this new years eve

Please keep your pet safe this new years eve!  Animal shelters sees an increased number of lost pets on New Year's Day due to scared animals running away from their homes.  Pets ears are very sensitive to loud sounds such as fire crackers, opening champagne bottles, and noisy house guests (especially if they are strangers to your pets).

If you are hosting a house party, or if the next door neighbor are known to host loud parties, put your pet in a quiet place with comfort items such as toys or blankets, to help calm them.  If you are leaving your home on New Year's Eve, be sure your pet is secured in a safe place.  Lastly, be sure your pet has proper identification, a license and a microchip.
